Trolltunga & Buerbreen
August 2017 – our passage through Odda! Hiking to Trolltunga and ascent to the Buerbreen glacier.
Trolltunga is one one of the most incredible cliffs in Norway, with a height of 700 meters above the Lake Ringedalsvatnet. The hike is 28 kilometres long, with an ascent of about 900 meters. It will take up to 10 hours in total.
Odda’s surroundings are full of lakes and waterfalls. It is called the valley of waterfalls.

The king of the waterfalls is Låtefoss, twin-waterfall close to route 13.

Taking advantage that we had enough time, we visited the glacial of Buarbreen. It is an offshoot of the large Folgefonna glacier. The small glacial arm reaches down into the Buerdalen valley.

I leave a video summary of the trip.
